Girls Hockey Day at UBS Arena – October 12th

The New York Islanders are proud to present Girls Hockey Day at UBS Arena, sponsored by Global Industrial, on Sunday, October 12th! This exciting day is all about celebrating the growth of girls’ hockey and providing opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels to get on the ice, learn, and have fun.

Throughout the day, participants will skate alongside Women Olympians, USA Hockey representatives, NHL Ambassadors, and Islanders Alumni. It’s a one-of-a-kind chance to connect with hockey role models and be part of Long Island’s growing girls’ hockey community.

Whether you’re stepping on the ice for the very first time, sharpening your skills, or dreaming of playing at the highest levels, Girls Hockey Day at UBS Arena is for you.

11:30 AM – 12:30 PM – LTP Girls Golden Ticket Event (ages 6–12, current & past Learn to Play participants)

1:00 – 2:15 PM – Continue to Play Jamboree (girls ages 6–12, all house, travel & clinic players welcome)

2:30 – 4:00 PM – Girls Travel Clinic (all travel players, all ages – Olympians participating!)

4:00 – 5:00 PM – Girls Wick Festival Team Tryouts (2013 & 2014 birth years)

Participants can sign up for one or multiple sessions. Each registration comes with a ticket to a New York Islanders game, with the option to purchase additional tickets for family and friends.
